Our Reformer based Apparatus class is for clients who are working at an intermediate level, have experience with Pilates apparatus, and have at minimum mastered the beginner reformer routine.
The main focus will be on reformer work, but we will take your practice to the next level by incorporating the Wunda Chair, Tower, Ladder and small Barrels. Challenge and refine your strength, flexibility, and control. This class focuses on more advanced exercises that engage your entire body while emphasizing proper alignment and breath.
The Reformer provides resistance to enhance muscle tone and endurance, while the Wunda Chair introduces a new dimension of stability and mobility, targeting core strength and balance. The Tower adds versatility, offering a variety of exercises that increase range of motion and deepen your stretch.
Throughout the class, you'll work on building strength in the core, arms, legs, and glutes while improving posture, flexibility, and overall body awareness.
Whether you're looking to build strength or improve your coordination, this class is the perfect way to challenge your Pilates practice and approach Pilates the way Joe intended it to be - utilizing all his major creations.
As a classical studio, we typically follow traditional exercises, sometimes with a twist! Don't be surprised to find more contemporary work thrown in. A good exercise always worthy!
Class Size Limited to 4 people.
A minimum of 4 of all the major apparatus is at the studio.
Attendees in this class have generally been practicing at The Pilates Loft for some time. They have graduated to this small group setting with the knowledge of how to set up and manipulate the reformer, tower, and chair's settings in order to keep the class flow steady.
We would love to have you in this class, and will work with you to get you ready to attend.
